DA's Office Awarded $66,000 to battle Worker's Comp Fraud
On July 15, 2013, The California State Insurance Commissioner awarded Nevada County District Attorney’s Office Sixty-six thousand dollars to help prevent and prosecute workers’ compensation fraud.The long term goal of the program is to develop a regional unit that will investigate fraud cases in Nevada County and surrounding neighboring counties.
